Capodimonte, special opening hours and hours for the April and May holidays
On the occasion of the spring holidays, the Museum and Real Bosco di Capodimonte announces the calendar of special openings by 20 April at 4 May 2025. An opportunity for citizens and tourists to experience the beauty of Neapolitan artistic heritage even on holidays.
What are the opening dates and times?
- Sunday, April 20 (Easter) e Monday 21st April (Easter Monday):
- Il Museum will be open From 8: 30 to 19: 30 (last entry to 18: 30)
- Il Real Bosco will be closed on Easter Monday
- Friday 25 April (Liberation Day):
- Opening of the second floor of the Museum with free admission
- Visits to the permanent collections and current exhibitions:
- Exceptional guests with works by Rubens e Baglione
- Beyond Caravaggio. A new tale of painting in Naples
- Damascus di Gian Maria Tosatti
- Il first floor will remain closed
- Thursday, May 1st (Labor Day):
- Museum open during the usual hours: 8:30am – 19:30am, last entry 18:30
- Sunday May 4th:
- Another day with free entrance to the second floor
- Access to the same exhibitions and collections as April 25th
- The first floor of the Museum is closed
Sections temporarily inaccessible
Throughout the period, the third floor of the Museum will remain closed for energy efficiency works. Therefore, it will not be possible to visit:
- la Contemporary Art Section
- the section dedicated to theNineteenth and twentieth centuries
The Museum will maintain the weekly closing on Wednesday.
Real Bosco: regular openings except April 21st
Il Real Bosco di Capodimonte It will be open every day at the usual times, except Easter Monday (Monday 21 April), a day in which the green area will remain closed to the public.
