Capri, photographic exhibition on Paolo Sorrentino's cinema

A photographic exhibition dedicated to the films of Paolo Sorrentino will be set up in the Cappella delle donne in Capri

The Neapolitan director Paolo Sorrentino will be honored by the Ápeiron association with the photographic exhibition Paolo Sorrentino's Cinema. Photographs by Gianni Fiorito, set up from the April 25 to the 14 June 2015, in the Charterhouse of San Giacomo di Capri.

The exhibition, curated by Maria Savarese in partnership with the Campania Museum Complex, under the patronage of the Municipality of Capri, is divided into three sections. The first is Visions, in which some will be exhibited evocative photographs and summary of an entire film; the second is titled the work and traces the backstage and the hard preparation phase in the production of cinematographic films; finally there is the section The night, in which we will be able to admire the suggestive snapshots of the scenes shot at night, which is the part of Sorrentino's favorite day.

Photojournalist and stage photographer Gianni Fiorito rebuilds, through approx 30 images of various formats, the film production of the lucky director, creator of successful films such as "The extra man", "Il divo", "This must be the place" and "The great beauty", thanks to which he won the 'scope Oscar Prize, consecrating its international fame.

We also remind you that Sorrentino will participate in the next Cannes Film Festival with his latest film, “La Giovinezza”.
