CarnevalePomeo 2025, traffic device Tuesday 4 March. Road closures and times
On the occasion of the event CarnivalPomeo 2025, scheduled for Tuesday 4 March, City of Naples has introduced a series of temporary changes to traffic in via Epomeo and in the surrounding areas. The device will be in force from 16: 30 to 22: 00 to ensure the safe conduct of the event.
The main changes to the road system
The following restrictions and obligations will be in place for the duration of the event:
- Closure to traffic of via Epomeo in the stretch between San Domenico Roundabout and Via Servio Tullio. Access will be prohibited to vehicles, with the exception of intersections of Via Paolo della Valle/Valle Nicolò e Montevergine Street/Antonino Pio Street.
- Tow Away Zone along the whole via Epomeo, in the section affected by the closure.
- Obligation to continue straight:
- In Nicholas Garzilli Street, at the crossroads with via Epomeo, towards Paul of the Valley Street.
- In Montevergine Street, at the crossroads with via Epomeo, towards Antonino Pio Street.
- In via called Pacifico, at the intersection with via Antonino Pio, with the obligation to turn right on the same street.
- Taxi reserved area in Justinian Street, at the roundabout.
- Suspension of regulated parking areas (blue stripes) and those dedicated to taxis along the closed stretch of via Epomeo.
Indications for citizens
Residents and visitors are advised to plan their journeys in advance, using alternative routes to avoid delays and inconvenience. It is recommended to pay attention to temporary road signs and the instructions provided by the Municipal Police.
