Castel Sant'Elmo reopens: starting Sunday, September 6, 2026 , the fortress moat will be accessible to the public again, and from September 10 , it will come alive with the Pessoa Luna Park . After weeks of closure due to the collapse of part of the perimeter wall, the San Martino fortress reopens with a redesigned entrance: visitors can enter by walking through the moat or ascending via the new elevator . The first event is Sunday, September 6th , when admission will be free , as is the case on the first Sunday of every month at state museums, with the opportunity to experience the new visitor route firsthand.

Pessoa Luna Park in the Moat from September 10th

From September 10th, the Moat will also come alive in the evening with the return of the Pessoa Luna Park , open from Thursday to Sunday until October 4th . Entrance is permitted from 17:30 pm to 23:30 pm and the ticket costs 2,50 euros : in addition to the rides, it includes a visit to the Castle until 19:30 pm.

Open-air cinema at Villa Floridiana

As part of the City's Summer in Naples 2026 program, the Napoli Contemporanea film club continues at Villa Floridiana . Screenings are held on Mondays and Thursdays at 21:00 p.m. , and the same €5 ticket includes admission to the Duca di Martina Ceramics Museum . Here's the schedule:
