Christmas lights in Naples on the Lungomare: here are the lights on the rocks

Christmas illuminations on the Naples waterfront

As we know, for several weeks we have been proceeding with theinstallation of Christmas lights throughout Naples, although some of them are stirring up a bit of perplexity among the people.

After the installation of the great Santa Claus in Piazza Vittoria in September, eliminated after a day because it was said it was technical tests, now it is the turn of the lights on the waterfront, more precisely at the height of Castel dell'Ovo.

According to some citizens these are installations that obstruct the beautiful view which you can enjoy walking along the Lungomare and which could even be dangerous in case of storms.

The replica of the Chamber of Commerce

The Chamber of Commerce, which finances the Christmas lights in Naples, reassured everyone by communicating that the installation is in order and there are no risks. Also, the anchors are secure and the wire will hold up.

One is working on it specialized company which in the past has already carried out this type of work following all the rules on the protection of the environmental heritage and in terms of safety. In fact, similar installations have also been placed on the cliffs of the Lungomare di Salerno on the occasion of the Luci d'Artista.

What are the lights on the waterfront

The lights that are being installed in the area are stylized trees placed on the rocks of the Lungomare and which symbolically represent theChristmas tree that we are all used to decorating even in our homes.

Of course they will be appreciated as it gets dark when the lights are actually on and thepower on of all the lights in Naples is expected by first two weeks of November.
