Cilento Tastes, the gastronomic excellences in Capaccio Paestum

From 27 29 to September, Capaccio Paestum becomes the beating heart of gastronomy with the second edition of Cilento Tastes, an event that celebrates the culinary richness of Cilento. This event is supported by the Campania Region, the Province of Salerno, and other local institutions, highlighting the commitment to promoting the food and wine heritage of the area.

A Showcase of Biodiversity and Flavors

Cilento Tastes It is configured as an ideal platform to explore the gastronomic diversity of Cilento, recognized as one of the fulcrums of the Mediterranean diet:

  • Exhibitors and Cellarmen: The event brings together 90 exhibitors and 10 wineries of the Consorzio Vita Salernum Vitae, creating a unique meeting point for lovers of good food and wine.
  • In-depth Masterclasses: During the festival, participants will be able to attend 7 masterclasses focused on various typical products such as oil, wines, cured meats, cheeses, as well as local specialties such as mozzarella, Cilentana pizza and ice cream.

The festival will take place in NEXT – Former tobacco factory of Capaccio-Paestum, a place of great cultural and historical value for the region.

Detailed Event Program

  • 27 Settembre: The opening is scheduled for 19:00 pm with tasting stands and a masterclass on Fiano del Cilento, followed by activities for children and an evening concert.
  • 28 Settembre: From 11:00 to 24:00, the program continues with further tasting sessions and masterclasses on local cheeses and oils, concluding with live music.
  • 29 Settembre: The final day offers another opportunity to explore the tasting tables and take part in masterclasses on pizza and gelato, as well as a specific one on cured meats, ending with a concert.
