Finally, after many months of hiatus, the new edition of "Cinema around Vesuvius" from the 26 June to the 15 August 2021 on the beautiful terraces of Villa Bruno in San Giorgio a Cremano.

This is the XXVIII edition of the film festival that offers us many beautiful films to see throughout the summer by Arci Movie.

For 44 evenings we will be in the company of many guests and we will be able to see both feature films and short films that also focus on Neapolitan cinema, in addition to the national and international ones. Space will also be given to children and children.

The beginning of "Cinema around Vesuvius" also coincides with the reopening of a part of the city park.

The review of films, short films and meetings on the terrace

The first evening, that of June 26, will be screened "I wanted to hide“, The film about the life of the painter Antonio Ligabue played by Elio Germani and which has won many awards at the David di Donatello, at the Berlin Film Festival and the Silver Ribbons.

It continues, therefore, with many other films, including award-winning ones, such as Nomanland who won the Oscar, Onward - Beyond the magic, new Disney movie, The Father, The Extraordinary Life of David Copperfield and many more. It is a review that always aims at quality and that is aimed at cinema enthusiasts without ever disappointing them, especially in this period in which there is a great desire for recovery and to restart after the consequences of the pandemic.

The section "Courts in the villa”Which every year is a great success and which is now in its fourth edition, proposing short films from prestigious Italian and international festivals.

In addition, there will also be the section "Meetings on the Terrace”Right on the terraces of Villa Bruno with guests Daniele Gaglianone, Angelo Curti, Rosita Marchese, the De Serio brothers, Antonietta De Lillo and Giuseppe Borrone.
