La Circumvesuviana, one of our main railway networks, was subjected to an interruption between Poggiomarino and Pompei Santurario due to the recent flooding due to the heavy rains, causing significant inconvenience for commuters and travellers.
Details of the disruption of the route
The disruption specifically concerns the route between poggiomarino e Pompeii Sanctuary. Trains departing from Napoli limit their path to Pompeii Sanctuary, at the moment there are no replacement services planned on the route.
Even the trains in the direction Napoli will undergo changes: their departure will be moved to the station of Pompeii Sanctuary.
