The Mergellina Funicular in Naples closed for the whole morning, the service is suspended for many hours.
Updated: the Funicular is also closed on Saturday 1 December and Sunday 2 December.

ANM has communicated that the Mergellina Funicular in Naples will not work all through the morning of today Friday 30 November 2018 and until 14.30 hours. The company announced the suspension end time around 12.15 on its official page, but the funicular service was already suspended from around 9.00, as communicated in other posts.
The 621 shuttle bus was activated to cover the Funicular route.
A day of heavy discomfort that of today that is turning out to be a real Black Friday because during the morning the services of the 1 line and the Chiaia funicular were also suspended, which now work regularly.
The unrest arose following the declaration by the mayor Luigi De Magistris to start the night extension of metro and Funicolari, which instead it will not be as announced by ANM.
