Naples City Half Marathon route and road closures February 21-22, 2026 (traffic restrictions)
On the weekend of 21 and 22 February 2026, Naples prepares to welcome the Coelmo Naples City Half Marathon, scheduled for Sunday. To ensure safety and organizational fluidity, the City of Naples has prepared a detailed plan of extraordinary traffic.
Expected transit bans e parking restrictions along the entire race route and surrounding areas, impacting several city districts. The changes will start on Saturday evening and continue on Sunday morning, following a system of progressive closures linked to the progress of the competition.
Traffic prohibited on Viale Kennedy from February 21st
From 22:00 PM on Saturday, February 21st up to 12:30 PM on Sunday, February 22, 2026, and in any case until the needs cease, the prohibition of vehicular transit in Kennedy Avenue, in the stretch between the intersection with Arturo Labriola Street e Vincenzo Tecchio squareEmergency and rescue vehicles, law enforcement vehicles, and authorized vehicles supporting athletes are exempt from the ban.
The same time slot is also scheduled for Tow Away Zone on both sides of Viale Kennedy (in the section between Via Labriola and Piazzale Tecchio), in Piazzale Tecchio (between Viale Kennedy and Via Giulio Cesare), in Via Giulio Cesare, Via Fuorigrotta, Via Sannazaro, Via F. Caracciolo (in the section between Via Sannazaro and Piazza Vittoria), Viale Anton Dohrn and Viale Gramsci, with suspension of paid parking where applicable.
Race route and roads closed on February 22nd
From 7:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. on Sunday, February 22, 2026, and in any case until the needs cease, the Vehicle transit prohibited along the following race route, except emergency and rescue vehicles, law enforcement vehicles and authorised vehicles supporting the athletes.
Departure is scheduled from Kennedy Avenue (in the section between Via Labriola and Piazzale Tecchio).

Taxi, bus and cycle path suspensions
In the sections affected by the route, the areas reserved for parking will be suspended taxi and public transport stops. Suspension is also planned, along Via Marina and up to the mark Porta di Massa, paid parking spaces reserved for tourist buses.
The routes are also suspended cycling mobility and the bus parking area in Campi Flegrei squareAlternatively, a bus parking area is established in piazzale Atleti Azzurri d'Italia, in the parking lot in front of the Stadium, facing the Distinti Sector.
Changes to Via Alessandro Volta
From 5:00 AM to 12:30 PM on February 22, 2026 the prohibition of vehicular transit in Via Alessandro Volta, limited to the carriageway designated for ordinary traffic in the direction of Via Reggia di Portici. During the same period, the central bus lane will be reserved for public transport, and will be used for mixed public-private traffic.
All traffic regulation measures that violate the ordinance are temporarily suspended for the duration of the order.
