Hypotheses on the causes of the collapse

Early indications suggest that the collapse may have been caused by water infiltration, which would have compromised the stability of the building.
This hypothesis, however, has yet to be confirmed. The situation is further complicated by the possible presence of a gas leak, which could represent an additional danger for people present on the site and for nearby buildings.

Rescue operations are underway

Immediately after the collapse, rescue operations have begun.
The rescuers, armed with courage and determination, started digging through the rubble with their bare hands to try to save the trapped people.

So far, they have succeeded to extract three people alive.

The people involved in the tragedy

Among the people involved there is a baby of only nine months.
Fortunately, one of the families who lived in the building was not present at the time of the collapse.

In total, the building was inhabited by about twenty people.
According to some rumors it seems, fortunately, that there are no more missing so it is trusted that there are no casualties, but the data is yet to be verified.

In times of crisis like this, it is essential facilitate rescue operations and focus on saving lives.
It is important to avoid speculation and wait for official information.

Hope is that this tragedy can end with as few casualties as possible.
