What Chaos 2026 Sounds Like in Ponticelli: Music, the Environment, and Social Rights

From 14 to 15 July 2026 the district Ponticelli of Naples becomes an open laboratory of music, civil commitment and environmental sustainability with the fifth edition of "What Chaos Sounds Like“, the festival conceived and directed by Maurizio Capone which for years has used music as a tool for environmental education and civic participation.

A special edition, born from the collaboration between Capone e Street Masters, the organization that has been working in the suburbs of Naples for over twenty years, supporting girls and boys on paths of growth and independence. The festival will be held at the Ciro Colonna Center of Street Masters at Via Curzio Malaparte 42 in Ponticelli, confirming the desire to bring culture to places where it is not just a spectacle, but a concrete opportunity for social transformation.

The program for July 14st

The opening day will start at 18:00 with the conference “Water – 'To all mothers'“, a moment of reflection dedicated to the value of water as a common good, between droughts and floods, with the participation of Francesca Zazzera (Greenpeace), Vincenzo Tosti (Stop Biocide), Dario Catania (N' Sea Yet) e Hermes Ferraro, ecopacifist and member of the VAS National Executive. Moderated by Davide Dioguardi.

From 20:00 space for Maurizio Capone's workshop on the construction of musical instruments with recycled materials, followed by theatrical performances by the kids from the workshops Trerrote Theatre Research Education.

The program for July 15st

The second day, free admission, is dedicated to music and the younger generations. Starting in the afternoon, the stage will feature young performers from Maurizio Capone's music workshop, students from the Maestri di Strada music workshop, and students from the "Cultura che Classe" project promoted by the City of Naples.

From 18:00 space for the new generations with the singer-songwriter Antonio Calabrese, the rappers of the SongArt Collective (Genny Trent, Keybi, Esse, Alex The Rock, MW), the Scuderia Rappers by Mariotto Longman (DirtyMoney and Miles Craven), the Collect_Ivo and the DJ set of Carlamour.

Grand finale at 21:00 with Capone & BungtBangt who will preview the new live "Electro Junk", a concert that blends instruments made from recycled materials, electronics, and urban percussion. Joining them on stage will be their special guest Andrea Tartaglia, ecologist singer-songwriter.

Workshops and collateral activities

The festival is not just about music. Among the initiatives planned are experiences at theMarine Protected Area of ​​Gaiola, navigation and training at sea with the association Scugnizzi a Vela, and a visit to the Farm Antonio Esposito Ferraioli of Afragola, a property confiscated from the Camorra and today a symbol of civil redemption and social commitment.

The shop will be open for the entire duration of the event. Village of How Chaos Sounds, with stands and information points from associations such as Greenpeace, Stop Biocidio, N'Sea Yet, Gaiola Onlus, WAU, Gridas, Coop Lazarelle and many others committed to protecting the environment and promoting human rights.

The laboratory activities, which started on July 1st, are coordinated by STEM (School, Territory, Education, Motivation), a project selected and supported by the Fund for the Digital Republic Social Enterprise.
