Coronavirus and distance learning: thanks to an agreement with telephone operators, the DAD will no longer consume the gigs!

Good news for all students who, due to the Coronavirus, are forced to follow teaching from home, in fact starting from 17 November 2020, thanks to an agreement with the main telephone operators, the DAD will not consume data traffic telephone, personal or family subscriptions.

Free distance learning

The interesting initiative, which will certainly be welcomed with enthusiasm, started by the Ministers for Education, Lucia Azzolina, for Equal Opportunities and the Family Elena Bonetti, of economic development Stefano Patuanelli and for technological innovation and digitalization Paola pisano, who consulted the major mobile phone operators, Tim, Vodafone and WindTre, to facilitate students and teachers with remote lessons.

The telephone operators have shown themselves available in accepting the request to help students and families in this uncertain period, in which distance learning seems to be the only alternative currently possible for education.

In particular Tim, Vodafone and WindTre, the latter starting from 23 November, they will exclude from the consumption of giga of subscriptions distance learning platforms indicated by the Ministry of Education.
