The Comicon 2020 in Naples opens its activities with the highly anticipated announcement of this year's Magister and with the promise of an exhibition on Spiderman that will make history.
Il Comicon 2020 will take place at Mostra d'Oltremare of Naples from 30 April at the 3 May 2020 (postponed to late June and early July).
This year the Artistic direction of the event is entrusted to David Toffolo, musician (Three cheerful dead boys), lyricist, screenwriter and cartoonist who made the history of independent rock and comic art in Italy.

The Magister of the Comicon has the task of giving the entire event a precise identity and an artistic uniformity that makes all the numerous initiatives that come to life within the gigantic container of the exhibition organic.
Among the most appreciated comic books by Toffolo The White King, Graphic Novel is Back, The Way of Cumbia.
As Magister of Comicon 2020 he will present one personal exhibition and collective exhibition, which will host works by cartoonists selected by himself, a cycle of conferences, a musical performance , presentation of an unpublished volume Five Merry Dead Boys - The Return.
The Exhibition: Italy Loves Spiderman
The exhibition Italy Loves Spiderman will celebrate the fiftieth anniversary of the first Italian publishing issue that had Spider-Man as the protagonist. The exhibition is unique in Europe, since it will collect one precious selection of 50 original plates never exhibited in the old continent.
Among the authors Steve Ditko, John Romita, John Buscema, Ross Andru, Alex Saviuk, Todd McFarlane, Mark Bagley.
Much of the works on display are the property of most important world collector of works by the Masters Cartoonists, founders of the Spiderman myth: it is Mike Burkey, known in the sector as Romitaman.
