COMICON Napoli 2025, all the exhibitions not to be missed

From May 1st to 4th 2025, Mostra d'Oltremare of Naples hosts the 25th edition of COMICON, the international pop culture festival. Scheduled for almost twenty exhibitions celebrating the visual power of comics, illustration and visual narratives. A journey that crosses genres, eras and continents, involving established masters and new voices on the international scene.

What are the must-see exhibitions at COMICON 2025?

Among the great protagonists of the exhibition there are names that have redefined the language of comics:

• DRAWING POWER: retrospective on Tanino Liberatore, magister 2025, between provocation and post-punk.
• In Corpore Veritas: the anatomical and evocative art of the sensei Shin'ichi Sakamoto.
• Jon J. Muth – M: the painted masterpiece that blends noir and poetry inspired by the film “M” by Fritz Lang.
• 50 Years in the Storm: tribute to John DeLuca and his narrative revolution with Shakespeare.
• Reflections of dreams: the illustrator's suspended universe Clement Lefevre.

• NAPLES: COMIC DESTINATION: the love story between Naples and comics, between Totò, manga and graphic novels.
• Recycle Rangers: recycling superheroes in an exhibition dedicated to environmental issues.
• Star Wars Made in Italy: tribute to the Italian designers who are the protagonists of George Lucas' saga.
