Spring Concerts 2025, Free Classical Music in the Lutheran Church of Naples

Also this year the Evangelical Lutheran Church of Naples opens the doors to music with the new edition of Spring Concerts, a free review that leads to Chiaia a selection of appointments between classical music, recitals and original performancesThe events will take place in via Carlo Poerio, in the suggestive setting of the church, and will continue until 21 May 2025.

Where are the concerts held and who organizes the initiative?

The initiative is curated by Lutheran Evangelical Community, which for twenty-six editions has promoted a free musical season in the heart of the Chiaia district. The concerts take place inside the church of via Carlo Poerio, with free admission until all seats are taken. Each event is designed to enhance the dialogue between styles, eras and instruments, with particular attention to chamber music and the discovery of new talent.

The Spring Concerts Program: Focus on April and May 2025

After the inaugural events in March, the festival continues with six new appointments in program between April and May, all starting at 20:30:

• 2th April – Recital Gianantonio Frisone (piano), music by Mozart, Rachmaninoff, Schumann
• 9th April – Recital Raffaele Battiloro (piano), music by Mozart, Liszt, Scriabin
• 16th April – Trio Elena Buttiero and Anita Frumento (piano four hands), Anna Giarrocco (narrating voice), music by San Lorenzo and lyrics by Daria Pratesi
• 23th April – Recital Angelo Maria Trovato (harmonium), 12 pieces for organ – book II
• 7st May – “Shadows, Dreams, Ghosts in the Belle Époque” with Sandro De Palma (piano), music by Franck, Massenet, Debussy, Fauré, Satie and others
• 14st May – “4 Hands at the Opera” with Aurelio and Paolo Pollice (piano), music by Verdi, Rossini, Donizetti, Bellini, Mascagni, Leoncavallo
• 21st May – “Ciak! Si Flauta” with the Falaut Flute Orchestra conducted by Paolo Totti, music by Morricone, Rota, Zimmer, Williams, Mancini and Strauss
