Coronavirus emergency in Naples: metro stations open at night

For the health emergency caused by the Coronavirus in Naples the metro stations will remain open at night to welcome the homeless!

Due to the Coronavirus health emergency to guarantee a place to sleep even for the homeless the ANM has decided to leave the stations open at night Town Hall and Museum of Line 1.

The initiative which will be valid until May 14, 2020 was adopted precisely to guarantee shelter and welcome to the clochards in view of the cold temperatures on arrival, and is part of the measures already active to support the Cold floor ofDepartment Social policies of the The municipality of Naples. 

Metro open at night for homeless people

The extraordinary opening of the metro Town Hall and Museum of Line 1 of Naples will be guaranteed by the end of the service, or by the hours 20:00 up to 07:00 in the morning, obviously with the presence of watch agents.

For security reasons a single access per station: Museum the entrance of Gagliardi square and at the stop Municipality (Select) the exit St. James.
