In Naples the first Covid Center, the field hospital equipped with intensive care to treat patients with Coronavirus.
It rises to Napoli the first Covid Center field Campania, a real emergency intensive care which will soon contain 72 beds to face the health crisis caused by the Coronavirus.
The Covid Center at the Ospedale del Mare
They finally got to Napoli, at the Ospedale del Mare, the 57 trucks from Padua and containing prefabricated modules that are used to build the first one field hospital useful to increase the ICU beds needed to treat patients with COVID-19.
These are two of the three planned modules that add up to 48 beds and which is expected to open to the public around 15 April 2020.
On April 22, 2020, the last of the modules should arrive, which will add another 24 seats, up to get a total of 72.
La Campania region has already made provision for two more field hospitals who will take care of the Coronavirus emergency intensive care, a Caserta and Salerno.
Field hospitals: equipment
These field hospitals will be equipped with heating and there will be an ambulance access tunnel, pedestrian areas and more.
Clean and dirty routes are already planned and inside the hospitals will have all the useful equipment to deal with this crisis.
