The beautiful and characteristic "Living Nativity" awaits all citizens in Gesualdo!
Il 27 and the 28 December 2015, Gesualdo, in the province of Avellino, will be the location for an extraordinary one "Living Nativity", full of atmospheres and scenarios dedicated to Christmas.
The event, curated by Astrea Gesualdo, presents itself with approx 30 crib scenes that will involve over 200 dressed in period costume and beautiful locations such as the caves of the Historic Center, the alleys and streets that protrude below the imposing Castle.
A good opportunity then to relive the true essence of Christmas nativity, going back in time, between historical figures and ancient crafts, meeting blacksmiths, cobblers, stonecutters, housewives and canestrai, which will make the representation even more magical and exclusive.
Moreover, this year the event will be accompanied by numerous food and wine stands that will delight the public with visitors with renowned typical Irpinia products.
A suggestive opportunity to rediscover not only the magic of one of the most beautiful parties of the year, but also for rediscover the traditions and customs of the past, enhancing a territory rich in history and surprises to be discovered.
