Cumana and Circumflegrea, races suspended after the earthquake of 26 July
A magnitude earthquake shock 4.0 hit i Campi Flegrei at 13.46 pm, causing notable concern among residents from Pozzuoli to central Naples, which required immediate checks on the safety of the infrastructure.

The earthquake of July 26th

The suspension of the Flegree lines
Following the earthquake, the EAV has decided to immediately suspend rail traffic on the lines Cumana e Circumflegrea. A preventive measure adopted to guarantee the safety of passengers and staff, allowing technicians to carry out the necessary measures technical checks on railway infrastructures and electrical systems.
At the moment, it is not possible to predict with certainty when the service will be restored, as control operations are still ongoing.
