The hypothesis is to move the curfew to 23.00 or 24.00! Here is the request of the Regions.
Le Italian regions have presented a proposal to ask to reduce the curfew by one or two hours, bringing the beginning of the hours 23.00 or even from midnight and no more from 22.00. According to the Courier, for the moment the Prime Minister Mario Draghi would not go further, but we must wait for the opinion of the CTS to have an answer on this issue.
According to some rumors, this shift could take place as early as May 17 and the goal is to totally eliminate it starting June 21st. More precise information will certainly be given in the new anti-Covid decree.
The control room on the postponement of the curfew
At the moment, a control room has not yet been convened among the majority forces to talk about changes to the Covid Decree or reopening. Presumably, though, it will be convened by Wednesday 12 May.
In the next few days, the control room will also have to deal with the support decree, but above all from the center-right arrive a lot of pressure to ensure that the postponement of the curfew and reopenings are addressed.
Yet not only are requests from the center-right to start the curfew later. Even the Foreign Minister Luigi Di Maio is in favor of a relaxation and the same opinion is the Minister of Health Roberto Speranza.
