Traffic plan for New Year's Eve 2025 in Bari. Roads closed.
On the occasion of the New Year's Eve in Bari 2025, the Municipality 6 of Naples has prepared a temporary circulation device to ensure safety and order during the event. The event, scheduled for Sunday August 31th In Piazza Vincenzo de Franchis, the celebrations for the Festa dei Gigli di Barra officially begin and will attract numerous visitors. For this reason, some streets in the neighborhood will be closed to traffic and parking during certain hours.
Which roads will be affected?
The measures affect two of the neighborhood's main arteries, chosen for their proximity to the square that will host the stage and audience. Specifically, from 20:00 PM to midnight, traffic will be prohibited on:
- November 4th Course, in the stretch between via Luigi Lanza and corso Bruno Buozzi;
- Corso Bruno Buozzi, in the section between via Prospero Guidone and via Giuseppe Mercalli, with free intersections.
Added to these limitations is the Tow Away Zone On the same stretch of Corso Bruno Buozzi, from 14:00 PM until midnight. These measures will remain in effect until no longer necessary.
Why the device was adopted
This measure is designed to ensure the event can take place safely. In the hours leading up to and during the concert, streets must be kept clear for pedestrian traffic, service vehicles, and any emergency services. Local police, present in the area, will monitor enforcement of the rules and may make further changes if traffic or public order concerns arise.
What changes for residents and visitors
Residents of the affected streets must move their vehicles by 14:00 PM to avoid towing. Access will still be guaranteed for residents' vehicles with access to driveways, vehicles for people with disabilities, firefighters, law enforcement officers, and ambulances. Visitors to the concert will be required to walk through the pedestrianized area, while those arriving by car may use the alternative routes provided by the municipal plan.
