Traffic device on the Chiaia Riviera in Naples from July to October 2018 and bus routes

The temporary traffic device on the Chiaia Riviera in Naples, with changes in the ANM and EAV bus routes, from July to October 2018.

On the Riviera of Chiaia in Naples a new one is active traffic device, started on 2 July and will end on 1 October 2018, to allow work on the rebuilding of the road surface.

The provision provides for a series of prohibitions, limitations, unique ways and other provisions, all divided into different periods in these three months.

For these reasons, also i ANM and EAV buses will follow a different route, which we will indicate further down in the article, in the appropriate paragraph.

Below, here is the detail of the traffic device.

Traffic device on the Chiaia Riviera

from 2 July to 1 October 2018

• unique way in the lane reserved by Square of Victory in Piazza della Repubblica
• the ban on transit in Piazza della Repubblica height reserved lane start

from 2 to 12 July 2018

• prohibition of transit from the confluence with Vico Satriano to largo Principessa Pignatelli / piazza San Pasquale;
• from piazza Vittoria to largo Principessa Pignatelli / piazza San Pasquale, a lane for the local traffic of 3,50 m along the curtain of the buildings to allow passage to the owners of driveways
• in the lane of point 2), the prohibition of transit except the vehicles of residents directed to the driveways present on the stretch, to the emergency and emergency vehicles
• no parking and stopping in the lane indicated in the previous 2 point)
• the unique way in the lane referred to in the previous 2 point) from the confluence with vico Satriano to largo Principessa Pignatelli / piazza San Pasquale
• a stop for the provisional local public transport in piazza San Pasquale near vico San Rocco in Chiaia at street number 21
• 7. maximum speed limit 10 km in the lane referred to in the previous 2 point);

from 13 to 24 July 2018

• the prohibition of transit from the confluence of largo Principessa Pignatelli / piazza San Pasquale to the confluence with via Santa Maria in Portico
• a lane for the local traffic of m 3,50 m along the curtain of buildings from via Principessa Rosina Pignatelli to via Santa Maria in Portico
• in the lane referred to in point 2), the prohibition of transit except the vehicles of residents going to the driveways on the section, to the emergency and emergency vehicles
• the one-way lane in the aforementioned 2 point)
• the prohibition of stopping and stopping in the lane referred to in the previous point 2)
• maximum speed limit 10 km in the lane referred to in the point referred to in the previous 2 point)

25 from July to August 7 2018

• prohibition of transit from the confluence with via Santa Maria in Portico to Piazza della Repubblica
• a lane for local traffic of m 3,50 m along the curtain of buildings
• in the lane referred to in point 2), the prohibition of transit except the vehicles of residents going to the driveways on the section, to the emergency and emergency vehicles
• the prohibition of stopping and stopping in the lane referred to in the point referred to in paragraph 2)
• the one-way direction in the lane referred to in the previous point 2)
• maximum speed limit 10 km in the lane referred to in the previous point 2)

Bus routes ANM

For the whole period of the traffic device, the ANM buses will follow the following paths (click on the keys to show them):

coming from Fuorigrotta, arrived in via G. Bruno, they cross piazza della Repubblica, viale Gramsci, via Sannazaro, via Caracciolo, viale Dohrn (with stop), via Caracciolo, piazza Vittoria (with stop in front of box ANM), via Arcoleo and own route . The route from piazza Garibaldi is unchanged;
140 line: coming from Posillipo, reached Piazza Sannazaro, turning into via Sannazaro, via Caracciolo, Viale Dohrn (with bus stop), via Caracciolo, piazza Vittoria (with stop in front of ANM box), via Arcoleo and its route. The route from S. Lucia is unchanged
it does not pass through S. Lucia and Piazza Vittoria, it is stationed in Via Carducci, Umberto high school height and follows the ordinary route towards Vomero. Returning from Vomero, once in via Carducci, turn right into via Cuoco, turn left into via S. Pasquale, piazza San Pasquale (stop), via Carducci
replaced by the 612 line on the same route with limitation to the Piazza della Repubblica roundabout
replaced by the 607 line on the same route with limitation to the Piazza della Repubblica roundabout

Bus routes EAV

Changes to EAV bus routes:

• the runs of the Monte di Procida Capolinea line from Fuorigrotta, arrived in via G Bruno, along Piazza della Repubblica, viale Gramsci, on the left in via Sannazzaro, on the left in via Caracciolo, viale Dorhn, via Caracciolo, Piazza Vittoria (with stop in front ANM box) and ordinary route
• the path that starts from Piazza Garibaldi remains unchanged (the Via Riviera di Chiaia is covered entirely in the interior reserved lane, promiscuous one way direction towards Piazza della Repubblica)
