Temporary deployment in Piazza Sannazaro and Piazza Vittoria for Civil Protection exercises

Il City of Naples has arranged a temporary circulation device on the occasion ofNational Civil Protection exercise for volcanic risk, scheduled Thursday 6 November 2025The changes will be active 8 pm: 00 11 to: 00 and in any case until no longer necessary, to allow the regular conduct of operational activities and ensure safe traffic in the affected areas. The measures concern in particular: Piazza Sannazaro e Piazza Vittoria.

Piazza Vittoria

It is expected the temporary suspension of the area reserved for taxi parking, located near the entrance to the Villa Comunale. The area will be used for transit and at the ANM urban bus stop and Campania Region buses, necessary for the logistics and management of the exercise.

It will be arranged suspension of paid parking spaces (“blue spaces”) and any other form of authorised parking – including that for motorcycles, loading and unloading goods – in the area in front of the pavement between the junction with viale Gramsci e via Giordano Bruno. Also in this case the space will be reserved for the transit and at the ANM and regional public transport stop employed in the exercise.

Purpose of the provision

The device was adopted to facilitate the coordination and simulation operations planned during the national exercise, which will involve several Civil Protection operational units. Collaboration between the Municipality of Naples, the Campania Region, and transport companies will ensure the activities are carried out safely and minimize disruption to residents.

Motorists are advised to Pay attention to temporary signs and to plan any travel on alternative routes during the affected time slot.
