C'è Posta per Te: Giovanni and Adele, what happened after the episode

There's Mail for You Giovanni and Adele

In the second episode of 2023 of C'è Posta per Te, we witness a drama between mother and son: Adele has not seen Giovanni for three years, but he decides to close the envelope and definitively cut ties with her. But then, after the episode, the unexpected happens.

Plot twist a You've Got Mail where is it, Saturday January 14 2023, a new “drama” has aired: Adele, after leaving her husband (described as a chauvinist), she no longer had the opportunity to see her children, especially John, who asked her to return with her father otherwise he won't talk to her anymore.

The woman's story is horrifying and, again, we wondered what kind of men there are around, "men" (although it would be more correct to define them as "males" in the derogatory sense of the term) than they forbid even women to take up any training or job they want:

“I wanted to take a beautician course, it didn't go well for him. When I ask him why he replies 'You took your head out of the bag, now walk'."

His ex-husband then leaves home, but, shortly after, he returns and, in front of his children, says he is ready to go back with her. Adele, rightly and understandably, refuses, but what ago later man is nothing short of chilling.

After some time, the son John he says to Adele who wants to go for a weekend with his father. She agrees, but shortly after she discovers that he has taken away all of her belongings. At that point, when she manages to talk to her son, he tells her:

"I'll be back when you come back with my father."

Adele can get in touch with John thanks to the former mother-in-law, but when it comes to You've Got Mail, he hasn't heard from him for three years.

Adele and Giovanni, he decides to close the envelope at C'è Posta per Te

Il confrontation between Adele and Giovanni at C'è Posta per Te it is to say the least heartbreaking, because on one side there is one mother hurt and in tears who, just because she decided to "free herself" from an ex with a retrograde mentality to say the least, was "punished" by the latter with the abduction of her children:

“How can you think that I don't love you, John? Mom loves you, how can I not love you? Since you've been gone for three years, a part of my heart has died with you. Let me be your mom because I'm your mom. I hear from customers who have it on Facebook about you. Sometimes my daughter Roberta, the sister, shows me TikTok. Sometimes I asked some friends about her. I beg you. John comes back with mom. What did I do wrong to have all this?”

On the other hand there is the son John, that he doesn't seem to have empathy for his mom and, moreover, gives another version of the facts:

“My father and my mother broke up for the economic sphere. Let's say that my mother lacked material things, that's why they broke up. I no longer talk to my grandmother because of my mother because she only told bad news around. If she loved me, she didn't tell my paternal grandmother, tell Giovanni that he died for me."

Him at the end close the envelope, saying that it makes no sense for him to resume the relationship with his mother, who continues to cry on the other side, but Maria DeFilippi try to make him think:

“You are not your father, you are your mother's son. And the love you feel for mom is different from what she can feel for dad."

Adele and Giovanni, what happened between them after the episode

Le words of Maria DeFilippi, surprisingly, they did not fall on deaf ears perched, shortly after the episode of C'è Posta per Te on 14 January 2023, John decided to give one second chance to mother Adele.

The news was given by the C'è Posta per Te official social channels, who have published two photos in which the two are together.

Mom Adele does not hide his happiness:

"The most beautiful moment is in your arms... My little big man... With you my life is complete, I'm overjoyed."

Words that have also been underlined by the son John:

“After a long time I found the courage to get closer to my mom again.”

Adele and Giovanni, our thoughts on the January 14, 2023 episode of C'è Posta per Te

I relationships between children and parents they can be complicated e, each of them, it has a story of its own. There are children who try to reconnect with their parents after a sudden breakup for various reasons, and who are rejected.

Others who, despite their efforts to succeed in life and become someone, are hindered, denigrated or mocked by their parents, often out of jealousy or envy, because the parents have failed to achieve what their children are achieving.

Then there are parents, like Adele, that just because they are "saved" from an unbearable or dangerous situation, they are "punished" not only by their ex-partner, but also by their children.

We repeat it: each has its own story, but seeing another woman on television, victim of an abusive partner (although, like Stephen and Valentina, also in this case it is a more subtle and dangerous violence), passed off as the "bad girl of the situation", who hasn't seen her children for years because her ex-husband prevents her from doing so, and what's more she finds herself dealing with a son "obviously brainwashed by the latter", makes us think.

It's not time that, for 2023, yes you begin seriously to condemn certain attitudes and, also, a promote (as already happened in the seventies in the Nordic countries, such as Norway and Sweden) a different kind of manhood, which is not that of the master husband father, and to really take action against everyone those who just don't they commit physical and psychological violence against women, but prevent them to do the most mundane things, such as undertake a new training?
