In addition to the inconvenience caused byabsence of ANM employees, there could be problems in public transport in Naples and its suburbs due to the commitment of the EAV employees at the polling stations for elections of 25 September 2022. The inconveniences will be there for three days, from 24 to 26 September.
The same EAV company has made it known that:
about fifty employees in railway services who have requested the permits that the law provides on these occasions. At present, there are no rules that limit the right to take on very specific electoral functions, both as a polling chairman, as a scrutineer or list representative.
The prefect of Naples met with public transport operators to limit all these requests made to participate as scrutineers in the elections, precisely in order not to create too many inconveniences for travelers.
Limited service for buses, Cumana and Circumvesuviana
EAV announced that there should be no cuts in rail service, then a Cumana e Circumvesuviana, but the number of bus drivers who will not be available is higher. Indeed, they are 112 agents who asked to take advantage of the permits, this means that not all services can be guaranteed on Saturdays, Sundays and Mondays.
