After last year's break due to the pandemic, the municipality of arpaise, in the province of Benevento, organizes the "Meeting with the chestnut“, A reduced version of the traditional Chestnut Festival.
Il 16 and the 17 October 2021 in any case they will be days of celebration in which we will be able to taste many typical products based on chestnuts as well as enjoying traditional chestnuts cooked in the oven or in other ways.
Despite the limitations, it will always be one big party where we will all have fun tasting the excellent local cuisine, naturally accompanied by glasses of good wine. There will be no lack of it live music with Romeo Russo.
Reservations for lunch and dinner
In these two days of celebration there will be dinner on Saturday and lunch on Sunday, in both cases with roasted chestnuts and typical cuisine with local products.

In any case, those who do not want to have lunch or dinner can freely visit the places of the district also discovering places to eat sausage sandwiches, caciocavallo hanged, roasted chestnuts and other local products.
Mandatory Green Pass and anti-Covid regulations
Always in compliance with the anti-Covid rules, it is mandatory to show the Green pass to participate in the meeting with the chestnut.
A mask must also be worn and interpersonal spacing of at least 1 meter must be maintained.
