The Etruscans and the Mann in Naples: exhibition at the Archaeological Museum with 600 finds

At the Mann of Naples the exhibition "The Etruscans and the Mann" can be visited soon, retracing the presence in Campania of the Etruscan people.

The exhibition is suspended due to the provisions of the last DPCM.

On June 12, 2020 the National Archaeological Museum of Naples will open its doors to the exhibition “The Etruscans and Mann”Curated by Paolo Giulierini and Valentino Nizzo and organized by Electa.

The exhibition will be open to visitors until May 31 2021.

The exhibition on the Etruscans

There are many i unpublished finds which will finally be presented to the public, approximately 600 works which have long been studied, restored and prepared for the exhibition for this unmissable show.

The time frame on which the entire exhibition is based goes from the XNUMXth-XNUMXth century. BC, then approx 6 centuries in which we try to reconstruct the entire historical path of the Etruscan population.

Part of the exhibition will be dedicated to "The Etruscans in Campania”And the history of the population within Southern Italy will be explored.

Another part will be entirely dedicated to "The Etruscans at Mann " in which we will try to deepen the historical-cultural perspective of all the materials that have been acquired over time by the Museum of Naples.

There will also be materials from the National Etruscan Museum of Villa Giulia, from which the famous kit of the Bernardini tomb from Palestrina which is one of the richest burials that have been found.

How to book at MANN

To visit the MANN a reservation is required which can be made from site of the Museum and from that of Co-op culture.

As for timetables, the National Archaeological Museum of Naples it is open every day, except Tuesday, from hours 9: 00 19 at: 30.

The Museum reopens offering the possibility of tickets at discounted prices and in total safety respecting all the regulations that must be adopted on the subject Coronavirus.
