Starting from 6 August e until 2 October 2022, all the Saturday and Sunday, from 20:00 to 23:00 with last admission at 22:00, there will be many evening events scheduled for Roman villas of Stabiae, Oplontis, Boscoreale and the Archaeological Museum of Stabia Libero D'Orsi - Reggia di Quisisana.
All these cultural sites are part of the wonderful Pompeii Archaeological Park, which can be visited in the evening i Friday in August at a cost of 5 euros.
Saturday night events
On a Saturday evening you can visit the Villa of Poppea in Oplontis and the Villa Regina of Boscoreale. In particular, the appointments will be in the days:
- 6, 13, 20, 27 August
- 3, 10, 17, 25 September
- 1 October
The villas will be open to visitors from 20:00 to 23:00.
At Villa Regina the entrance will be price quotation, while at the Villa di Poppea the entrance ticket costs 5 euros and can be purchased both at the ticket office and online on TicketOne with a pre-sale of 1,50 euros.
Sunday night events
On Sunday evening you can visit the Villa San Marco in Stabia and participate in the event Sunday at the Reggia at the Archaeological Museum of Stabia Libero D'Orsi - Reggia di Quisisana.
The days affected by the events are:
- 7, 14, 21, 28 August
- 4, 11, 18, 25 September
- 2 October
Admission to Villa San Marco will be free, while admission to the Stabia Museum costs 6 euros. Tickets can be purchased at the ticket office or on TicketOne with a pre-sale of 1,50 euros.
Free routes in August
In August, some free guided tours in Oplontis, always buying the 5 euro entrance ticket in the Villa di Poppea.
The visits will take place at 20:00, 21:00 and 22:00 and it is not necessary to make a reservation.
Here are the tour routes:
- August 20th: thematic study on the painting techniques that can also be admired in the spaces of the Villa di Poppea with its magnificent still well preserved frescoes.
- August 27th: thematic study on glass working with reference also to the objects found in Oplontis such as balsam bottles, cups and glass jars.
Furthermore, in all the sites, on the occasion of the European Heritage Days on 25 September 2022, there will be admission at a cost of 1 euro.
