The splendid city of Naples, for the weekend of 11, 12 and 13 September 2015, offers tourists and its citizens a long series of cultural activities and events.
You can visit the free Mother Museum, admire the exhibition on Murat al Royal Palace or Pompeii excavations ed Herculaneum and a long series of others museums in the evening hours. You can also admire the sunset from the marvelous setting of the park of Pausilypon or, again, participate in the Malazè Festival in the name of archeology and tastings of typical products of the Campi Flegrei
Finally, you can take part in the Orient Festival to the Mostra D'Oltremare and to Festival of the Volcanoes, a traveling theater in the territory of the Campi Flegrei.

Summer sunsets at the Pausilypon park
For lovers of landscape and archaeological beauties the Pausilypon park will be for you. Following a visit along the Cave of Seiano, you will come to the bay of Trentaremi from which it will be possible to admire the sunset.

Malazè Festival
Malazè Festival, archaeo-food and wine review which will take place in the gods Campi Flegrei and will be dedicated, in fact, to the beauties of the territory through archaeological thematic routes e tastings of typical local products.

Evening visits to the excavations of Pompeii and Herculaneum
Until 17 October 2015, the excavations of Pompeii and Herculaneum will also be open to the public in the evening hours for evocative visits under the stars. In Pompeii you can admire, inside the amphitheatre, the exhibition "Kidnapped to death. The casts - Photography ", in Ercolano, instead, it will be possible to visit the Pavilion of the Boat and the remains of the victims of the eruption at the gates of the city Fornici that originally gave directly onto the beach. Furthermore, until the 13 September, guided tours will be organized in Ercolano "The night of Pliny".

Free tours at the MADRE Museum
The MADRE Museum, for the month of September, offers free guided tours as well as a series of educational activities on Saturdays, Sundays and Mondays. In addition to permanent collections, the exhibition "Sturtevant Sturtevant", dedicated to the artist Elaine Sturtevant, and a series of initiatives such as "A Saturday at the museum", "Museum in action" e "FreeMadre".

Exhibitions and museums
Exhibition on Murat
The Royal Palace, on the occasion of the bicentennial of the death of Gioacchino Murat, has set up an exhibition entirely dedicated to the sovereign. The exhibition, exhibited at the Salon of Hercules, presents well 150 pieces mostly from French collections and including miniatures, porcelain, weapons, paintings and engravings.

Saturday night at the museum
The main museums of the city of Naples and Campania will also be open in the evening hours of Saturday 12 September 2015 between the 20.00 and the 24.00. The initiative, promoted by MiBACT, will be active until the next 19 December 2015. The museums that took part in the project are the National Archaeological Museum of Naples, Museum of Capodimonte, the Royal Palace of Caserta, the National Archaeological Museum of Paestum and the Archaeological Park and the excavations of Pompeii and Herculaneum.

Orient Festival
The first edition of the Festival of the East will begin the next 11 September 2015 at the Mostra d'Oltremare and will continue throughout the weekend and also the following weekend. The Festival will take you to the discovery of a fascinating reality very far from our traditions. They will be organized thematic photographic exhibitions, concerts, dances, yoga and martial arts, meditation, massage, tastings of typical cuisine and ceremonies including tea and kimono dressing.

Efestoval, the Festival dei Volcani
The Festival dei Volcani will see the territory of the protagonists as protagonist Campi Flegrei of which the less known landscapes and views, such as shipyards, abandoned factories, reserves and lakes, will be enhanced. On the current weekend, the event to be announced will take place on 13 September 2015 at thehangar of the Postiglione Shipyard in which a presentation will be presentedOdyssey revisited in a modern way by Mario Perrotta.
