The Naples Funiculars extend the service until late at night on the 15 weekend and 16 December 2018!
There seems to be a ray of hope for the prolongation of night of ANM vehicles in Napoi, in fact on the weekend of 15 and 16 December 2018 Funiculars service up to 2 at night.
According to what was declared by the administrator of the ANM, Nicola Pascale, is "a provision that we want to make structural and not episodic". So most likely this beautiful and convenient initiative will also take place in the following weekends.
To report the news is NapoliToday, also communicating that on New Year's Eve the metro and Funicular service will operate non-stop until the morning of 1 January 2019 and the service will be interrupted only from 13.30 to 16.00, as well as on Christmas day.
Recall that in recent days there has been a tough one arm wrestling between the company, the Municipality and the unions to obtain the night extension of metro line 1 and funiculars. The clash also led to the stop of the funiculars for several hours on some days.
We hope that also in the future there will be an extension of the timetable and that it also concerns the subway.
