The romantic tale of Love and Psyche is staged in the evocative location of the Museum of Underground in Naples with unpublished music!
After the success of the last Valentine's Day, the fable of Love and Psyche returns to enchant the Neapolitan public. The appointment is for Friday 6 April 2018 in an exceptional location, which will contribute to the evocative atmosphere: it is the Museo del Sottosuolo in Naples, underground pearl in the heart of the city.
In 'former anti-aircraft shelter the famous masterpiece of Apuleius is staged, with the full title “Chimera: the fable of Cupid and Psyche in the eyes of Dino Campana. Una timeless love story, created as a tribute to Carmelo Bene by the director Livia Berté. Psyche, beautiful mortal, will have to face a series of difficult trials put on his path by the gods. In the happy-end it will succeed in rejoin the god Cupid, his promised spouse.
La minimalist scenography helps make this world even more fairytale through non-artificial lights, like torches and braziers. The representation will also be accompanied by the unpublished music on the harp and violin composed by Gianluca Rovinello.
