F @ Mu 2015 in Naples, the National Day of Families at the Museum

National Family Day at the Museum 2015

National Family Day at the Museum wants to involve children above all to discover art and culture!

This year the appointment with F @ Mu, National Family Day at the Museum, promoted by the Association of Families at the Museum, and which will take place on 4 October 2015 also to Napoli.

Under the patronage of Expo 2015, FaMu has the theme "Let's feed on Culture to Grow". The aim is to induce reflection on the themes that are already specific to the Universal Exposition of Milan and which concern the concepts of growth e nourishment, but also other concepts that will be developed in the coming months.
Growth also understood as education, discovery and travel and nourishment for both the body and the soul.

F @ Mu 2015

This year's project stems from the experience of the internet portal Kids Art Tourism, always showcasing all the cultural and educational proposals designed especially for children.

All the museums that will join, also those of Naples, by sending their candidacy and who will make sure to participate in the development of the central theme of the F @ Mu. You want to create one synergy between organizers, that is, the museums, and the participants, that is, families invited to go to places of art to raise awareness especially for children.

Through the cultural experiences, the little ones can give a fundamental push to their own moments of growth and museums are the best places to allow it.

The National Day of Families at the Museum is proposed both as a moment of reflection rich in educational and play activities, but also as a project from above educational value.
The individual museum will have the task of developing in the best possible way the basic themes of the initiative and involving the families with children on ad hoc routes, associating it with a affordable or free admission price.

Events for families

Families will be able to participate in many events, especially dedicated to children. Some are common to all participating museums, while others will be specific to each museum participating in FaMu. For example, the little ones will receive the notebook of the museum explorer or see the cartoon of L'arte con Matti e Dada. On the official website thelist of organized initiatives.
