In November San Clemente di Galluccio returns to perfume of wine and chestnuts
The Festa del Novello of San Clemente di Galluccio, in the province of Caserta, will take place from 9 to 10 November and, in case of bad weather, it will be postponed to the following weekend of November 16th and 17th XNUMXand an free event now in its seventh edition and an unmissable opportunity to discover and appreciate the wine and gastronomic excellences of the area.
The entire village on the slopes of the Roccamonfina volcano is preparing to welcome visitors from all over Campania in the second weekend of November. All the celebrations will gravitate around the Novello wine, that can be purchased directly from best producers in the area.
On the gastronomic side, gourmands will appreciate the roasted chestnuts and traditional chestnut desserts that in San Clemente they still prepare themselves as they once did, the fried cooked at the moment, fresh pasta dishes e grilled meat.
La Sunday will be organized a lunch in the square and immediately afterwards it will be possible to visit the Collegiate Church of Santo Stefano, one of the recently restored churches in the town. For children there will be lots of activities to do together with animators.
