Mandarin Festival of Campi Flegrei with jams, liqueurs, tastings and workshops

THE11 and 12 January 2025, the Campi Flegrei will be the beating heart of the agri-food tradition thanks to the Mandarin Festival, organized by Dr. Attilio Montefusco and now in its 12th edition at the Borbonico del Fusaro Park. The unique event celebrates the mandarin, symbol of the agricultural wealth of the territory, and aims to enhance the excellence of the municipalities of Ischia, bacoli, Bedroom e Monte di Procida.

An unmissable event for lovers of local products and traditions, which combines gastronomy, culture and breathtaking landscapes. The festival will take place outdoors, offering an immersive experience among the typical scents and flavors of the Phlegraean land.

Program and activities

During the two days of the event, visitors will be able to:

• Taste Mandarin-based products: jams, liqueurs, sweets and traditional dishes prepared by local producers.
• Attend workshops and guided tastings, designed to discover the unique characteristics of the Phlegraean mandarin.
• Visit exhibition stands which showcase the area's excellent food and artisan products.
• Enjoy outdoor shows and entertainment, for young and old.

The event is designed to promote not only the main product, the mandarin, but also to raise awareness of the cultural and landscape heritage of the Campi Flegrei.

• By car:: Naples ring road, Pozzuoli/Arco Felice exit, following the signs for Bacoli.
• By public transport: From Naples Montesanto, take the line EAV Cumana Railway (Fusaro stop), then continue by bus EAV to the Viale Carlo Vanvitelli stop.
