Paranza Fish Festival 2024 returns to Castellabate

La Paranza Fish Festival go back to castellabate for its 13th edition since 31 2 May to June. The event will be held in Villa Matarazzo a Santa Maria di Castellabate. A special occasion to enjoy fish dishes and have fun with many activities.

What do you eat at the festival

Il menu offers many seafood delicacies and typical dishes:

• Fried paranza: red mullet, seabream, prawns and squid, caught locally and fried in oil Free Fried Zucchi!
• Spaghetti with Cetara anchovies sauce
• Trofie with Genoese pesto
• Classic Panuozzo (mozzarella and cherry tomatoes)
• Panuozzo with octopus
• Gluten-free panuozzo
• Cilento fried pizza
• Acquasale with buffalo mozzarella or anchovies
• Chips
• Zeppola
• Strawberry skewers with dark chocolate
• Water, wine and beer

The program of the Paranza Fish Festival is full of shows e organisers' activities for everyone:

31st May

• 19:30: Opening of markets and artisan workshops
• 20:00: Opening of the food stands
• 19:30: Opening ceremony with the return of the boats and the blessing of the fish
• Show cooking: Local fishermen will prepare typical dishes live
• Live music: Performances by the “Progetto Danza” dance troupe and special guests such as Renato Zero's lookalikes, Claudia Mori and Adriano Celentano
• Campania Festival: Grand final of the singing competition, with performances by the Big finalists

1nd June

• 18:00: Opening of markets and artisan workshops
• 19:00: Opening of the food stands
• Show cooking: Local fishermen will prepare typical dishes live
• Live music: Performances by the “Progetto Danza” dance troupe and special guests such as Renato Zero's lookalikes, Claudia Mori and Adriano Celentano
• Campania Festival: Final of the singing competition

2nd June

• 18:00: Opening of markets and artisan workshops
• 19:00: Opening of the food stands
• Show cooking: Local fishermen will prepare typical dishes live
• Live music: Evening dedicated to group dances directed by Antonio Ceccola

other activities

• Giant pan: Pro Loco Camogli will provide a 26 meter pan to fry the fish
• Activities for children: Mini trials and mini quads for the little ones
• Partners and sponsors: Zucchi oil mill will provide frying oil and promote sustainability
