Apple Festival 2024 in Valle di Maddaloni with typical foods, grilled meat and local specialties

From 8 to 10 November 2024, the village of Valle di Maddaloni welcomes the 30th edition of the Feast of Apple, an event that celebrates the Annurca apple and the region's food and wine traditions. The food and wine stands will offer visitors a journey through local flavours, accompanied by typical events and shows.

What do you eat at the Apple Festival?

During the festival, genuine dishes based on Annurca apple and other local specialties. Visitors will be able to taste:

• Apple-based desserts prepared by local housewives, including those competing in the “Best Dessert with Annurca Apple 2024” competition
• Grilled meat, cooked on the spot, and various dishes of typical pasta and soups
• Preserves and jams of apple, to taste and buy

The food area, large and full of proposals, will guarantee a truly immersive experience in the traditional flavors of the Maddaloni Valley.

Some unmissable events

Alongside the food and wine offerings, the Apple Festival offers a series of events that liven up the streets of the village:

• Meeting of vintage cars and motorcycles (Sunday morning), a classic event that attracts enthusiasts from all over the region
• Musical and folk shows with groups such as 'O Revotapopolo and Bottari, who will perform in Piazza Annunziata in the evening
• Historical parade and flag-wavers with the participation of local schools, scheduled for Sunday afternoon

The festival also includes guided tours of the historic center and theCarolino Aqueduct, offering the opportunity to discover the cultural heritage of the area.
