Tammorra Festival in Sessa Aurunca, program of events, music and tastings

From 19 to 21 July 2024, the historic center of Sessa Aurunca will host the VII edition of the "Popular Festival of Tammorra”. An unmissable event for fans of popular music and for those looking for evenings full of joy, tradition and fun.

La Popular Festival of Tammorra was born to promote traditional music, thanks to the commitment of the association "Popular Ethnicity” and with the patronage of the municipality of Sessa Aurunca. The event, eagerly awaited every year, offers a unique opportunity to not only enjoy musical performances, but also to taste local food and wine products and discover the historical beauties of this town with pre-Romanesque origins.

In the heart of the Ancient village of Sessa Aurunca Guided tours of local monuments will be organised, while numerous stands will offer the gastronomic specialties of the area. They will also be protagonists buskers, who will liven up the evenings with traveling shows.

The food stands will offer various delicacies, with tasting packages at the flat rate of €15, €17 and €20 depending on the size. The main squares will instead host the "paranze della tammorra", musical groups typical of the popular tradition.
