On the occasion of Napoli scudetto celebrationscheduled for Monday 26 May 2025, the entire area of the city's waterfront will be subject to strict access controls. The influx of fans will be regulated on the basis of precise technical calculations and safety regulations. The management plan prepared by the authorities, in agreement with the Police Headquarters, the Municipality and the Prefecture, aims to guarantee order and safe outflows in an area that is particularly delicate from a logistical point of view. The waterfront, in fact, is bordered on one side by the sea and on the other by city roads, with no alternative exit routes.

How many people can access the Napoli party?

As per the approved security plan, the area of the seafront designated for the celebrations can accommodate up to a maximum of 90.000 spectatorsThe available surface area is approximately 51.600 square meters, and the theoretical calculation of the capacity, based on a maximum crowding of 2 people per square meter, would have allowed access to over 100.000 people. However, for security reasons, the number has been reduced.

The decision was taken for allow for an orderly flow and ensure operational margins in case of emergencies. The entire area will be divided into sectors, each manned by stewards equipped with people counters to monitor entrances in real time.

What happens once maximum capacity is reached?

Once the limit of 90.000 attendees is reached, the access gates will be closed. The stewards in charge, through counting systems, will block the entrance of new arrivals and direct them to other areas of the city.

For those who are unable to access the main area of the festival, a system of four giant screens positioned in the following strategic points: largo Sermoneta, piazza Sannazaro, piazza San Pasquale and via Partenope (height of the former University). In this way it will be possible to follow the event without further congesting the central area.

The whole plan aims to avoid dangerous overcrowding and ensure sustainable management of the event, also in light of the experience of previous celebrations.
