Voice Festival at Castel Nuovo, with workshops and performances

Il 13 and 14 September 2024 Naples will host the first edition of the Voice Festival, a one-of-a-kind event at the Maschio Angioino. It will be two days full of meetings, workshops and interactive activities to help us discover the world of dubbing, music and much more, in a truly special atmosphere.

The artistic direction and direction of the event

The Festival is curated by Eleonora De Angelis, actress and dubbing director, and from Serafino Murri, writer and film critic. Two important names in the world of voice and communication, who will guarantee a rich and interesting program. Thanks to their experience, the event will offer us a fascinating journey through the world of voice.

The Workshops Program

During the Festival there will also be space for interactive labs that will allow us to discover the use of the voice in many different areas. Activities will be available for everyone, from the little ones to the adults, and everyone will be able to test themselves with dubbing, singing, radio communication and much more. The workshops will be led by professionals in the sector, ready to share their secrets and techniques.

The workshops of September 13th

Il September 13th will be dedicated to a series of practical laboratories that will involve people of all ages. Among the main events there will be:

• Group singing workshops for children and teenagers, to experiment with harmonization and intonation;
• Sessions radio communication, with advice on how to improve your communication style;
• Practical tests of film dubbing, with focus on cartoons e anime.

The workshops of September 14th

The evening of September 14thCalled “Voices among the Waves”, will be the grand finale of the festival, with a real celebration dedicated to the great voices of cinema, music and sport. Starting from 20:00, Maschio Angioino will become the setting for an evening full of exceptional guests e awards.

Among those present there will be well-known faces such as Francesco Pannofino, Emmanuel Rossi, Mauro Casciari e Rossella Izzo.

Everything will be accompanied by musical moments directed by the Master Riccardo Biseo, for a unique experience.

Il September 14th continue with others interactive labs, perfect for exploring the world of voice even more deeply. In the morning we will be able to participate in:

• Voice on Art with Anna Guastafierro, to learn how to create audio guides and podcasts on the works of art of Naples;
• Voice is on Air with Sarah Fight, a laboratory dedicated to the radio communication;
• Vix Vocal with Renato Novara, where we will try the dubbing of cartoons even if we are not professionals.

In the afternoon there will be space for other activities, all to be discovered and tried.

How to participate in the Festival della Voce

Participate in the Festival of the Voice It's simple. To take part in the interactive labs of September 13th and 14th, it is necessary to book online via the official website of VociTraLeOnde at a cost of € 25. Each workshop has limited places, so it is recommended to book in advance to ensure a place.

La final evening of September 14th will instead be open to the public, without the need for a reservation, and will allow us to attend an unforgettable show with the most beloved voices of dubbing and Italian culture.
