The 34th edition of the Fiordilatte Fiordifesta festival in Agerola with typical local menus, excursions and the free concert by Nino d'Angelo. From 2 to 4 August 2014
La festival of fiordilatte and typical products of Agerola it returns for its 34esesimo edition, near the fraction Pianillo, San Lazzaro and Bomerano of the common site on the Monti Lattari.
The festival will be a veritable hymn to the fiordilatte, the dairy product symbol of Agerola, and will take place from the 2 to the 4 August 2014. The event will be organized by the Sant'Antonio Abate Association and will involve not only the entire community of Agerola, but also anyone who wants to immerse themselves in the world streamlined of this tasty dish.
The three days of the festival will be full of food and entertainment and you can taste delicious typical local menus. So, in addition to taste the fiordilatte in all its variants, you can also eat products such as salami and bread, prepared by local experts.
Furthermore, each dish based on fiordilatte will have a specific name that will represent a reference to the geographical, historical and morphological characteristics. We will have, thus, the appetizer Farmer's whims, the first course Fusilli del belvedere, il Bread of the field and the Montanara agerolese.
Of course, all dishes can not be accompanied by excellent wines, such as the Furore wine produced by the local wineries, and moments of good local and folk music. There will be the Grand Band Complex "Città di Martina Franca" which will perform in a traveling show in the main squares of the area, the folk music group "Corecorde" and everything will end with the free concert by Nino d'Angelo.
The three days of the festival will also be enriched by excursions on the trails of the Lattari Mountains, from the setting up of taste workshops and demonstrations of the processing of fiordilatte and typical Agerola products, made in collaboration with the Slow Food of the Lattari Mountains.
