The first Festival of Performing Arts will be in Naples and will give space to contemporary language in dance and visual arts!
The first Performing Arts Festival in Italy, theArtperformingfestival, will take place at Napoli starting from the 18 June 2016 (although some events will be held by the 14 June) and its main office will be the Castel dell'Ovo. The Festival is organized by the curator Gianni Nappa and promoted by the ResetArt association.
In fact, the events of the kermesse will take place in numerous locations in the city, venues that will host many shows and performances.
Every scheduled appointment wants to give space, and at the same time to interpret, i contemporary languages in the art world and will also be a crossroads for Italian and international artists who will meet again in Naples.
The Performing Arts Festival wants to be a meeting point between contemporary Western and Eastern culture and it can already be seen from the title “East and West Crossroads”.
The real protagonist will be the body with its language, in contemporary dance and visual arts, as a tool to talk about current issues of society such as the crisis in the Middle East, wars, spirituality, emigration and refugees.
Places
At the Castel dell'Ovo, the exhibition halls of the first and second will be the seat of the personal exhibition of paintings, videos, documentation, photos and performances by Riccardo Attanasio, aka Matlakas, a Neapolitan living in London. There will also be the personal exhibition of Gim Gwang Cheol, South Korean, the Collective "Contaminazioni e Mutazioni" of emerging Neapolitan artists . On the day of the inauguration, June 18, Claudio De Lorenzo will perform.
The other locations will be The Underground Naples, the Casina Pompeiana, the Palazzo Caracciolo, Racecourse of Agnano and the Palazzo Manso di Scala, the Phonotheque.
