The 2018 hanged caciocavallo festival takes place in San Marco ai Monti di Sant'Angelo with many tasty dishes, local wine and music.
caciocavallo hanged is one of the most loved cheeses in Campania and protagonist of various festivals, like that of San Marco ai Monti di Sant'Angelo a Cupolo, a village in the province of Benevento, that the 27 and the 28 July 2018 will host this tasty gastronomic event. This dairy product attracts many gluttons because it is dissolved gradually on the coals, acquiring a characteristic taste.
The edition is the seventh and is organized by the Parish of San Marco Evangelista. During the evening you can taste the hanged caciocavallo both alone and in other dishes, such as i fusilli with tomato sauce cooked with caciocavallo cheese, but there will also be seconds like grilled sausage and bacon, fries and various desserts.
The dishes will be accompanied by local wine and you will have fun with the music that will be the background for the evening appointments.
