At Monte di Procida the Cistecca Montese Festival returns with its tasty sandwich, street food and international street artists.
Also this year the Festival of the Cistecca in Monte di Procida, an event that was a huge success with visitors last year. You can participate 29 from June to July 2 2017 and will be organized by the Consortium of Cistecca Montese.
The Festival will propose the quality sandwich made precisely with the cistecca montese, now become a symbol of Monte di Procida. A really tasty product made with bread cooked on the grill, excellent beef and stringy cheese, with the addition of tasty aromas and other condiments of the Campi Flegrei tradition.
During this gastronomic event you can also taste other products of the street food of the Campania and rivers of beer and they will be there too performances by street artists.

The shows
As mentioned, there will also be talented international street performers who every evening will offer a different show. You can attend live fire show, performances on stilts with elegant winged and ethereal figures who will dance in the streets for a show in the style of the 50s and which will be followed by a self-powered car with music, juggling shows like white bolas, sphere and fans. There will be i fireworks.
