Spinacorona Festival 2024, free concerts in many places in Naples
From the 3 to the 6 October 2024, Napoli will welcome the new edition of the Spinacorona Festival, an event dedicated to great classical music. The event, conceived and directed by the maestro Michele Campanella, offers a unique musical journey, with 19 free concerts distributed in less than 100 hours. The concerts will take place in some of the most fascinating sites of the historic center of Naples, declared a World Heritage Site Unesco. Among the most anticipated events, the cycles dedicated to Schubert e Bach, with the participation of over 40 internationally renowned artists. An unmissable opportunity for those who wish to experience music in a setting of extraordinary beauty.
The Festival Programme
Il Spinacorona Festival offers a rich calendar of musical events, distributed in various places of Neapolitan culture and spirituality. Among the sites chosen for the concerts, we find the Basilica of the Most Holy Mary of Carmine Maggiore, Basilica of San Giacomo degli Spagnoli , Church of the Girolamini, just to name a few. The opening event, scheduled for October 3, will see the Orchestra of Tuscany perform songs by Mozart, Schumann e Weber. The following day, October 4th, will be characterized by a tribute to Vincenzo Vitale, with musical interventions and moments of reflection on his artistic legacy.

The Festival Locations
The concerts of the Spinacorona Festival will be held in 14 historical places of the center of Naples, an opportunity to discover or rediscover the architectural jewels of the city. In addition to the aforementioned Basilica of Carmine, other sites of great historical and cultural importance will also be involved, such as the Church of Donnaregina Vecchia, University Library of Naples , Church of Santa Croce and Purgatory at the Market. Each location will contribute to creating an intimate and suggestive atmosphere, perfect for enhancing the musical performances.
Admission to all events is free, with the possibility of accessing the concerts 30 minutes before of the beginning, until all available seats are filled. A formula that allows you to experience art without barriers, opening up musical culture to a wide and diverse audience.
