Porcino Mushroom Festival, where you can taste mushroom-based delicacies in an event dedicated to folklore and fun in Torchiati di Montoro Superiore (AV). From 18 to 21 July 2013
La Porcini Mushroom Festival di Torchiati, a fraction of the municipality of Montoro Superiore, in the province of Avellino, is an unmissable event for lovers of festivals and, of course, mushrooms.
While waiting for the autumn festivals that celebrate this delicacy, the most famous that of Cusano Mutri (BN), you cannot miss the opportunity to find shelter from the summer heat in the green of Montoro Superiore and taste the specialties of the place, obviously in a menu based on porcini mushrooms.
July 18th - 21th 2013 will therefore be held 18th edition of the Porcino Mushroom Festival, including good food, fun and folk music, in an event that is repeated by 1996, reaching every year a high success of visitors who come from all over Campania.
There are four evenings dedicated to the festival, from Thursday to Sunday, and the event will begin every day from 19: 30. Group dances, Caribbean and folkloric music will cheer up the whole event.
