The "Festa Pizzelle e Sciurilli" festival arrives in Salerno, dedicated to the now famous fried zucchini flowers, from 18 to 21 July 2013
From 18 to 21 July prepare your stomach! The Oratory of San Bartolomeo Apostolo, to finance the reconstruction of the parish oratory of San Bartolomeo, organizes a festival dedicated to pumpkin fritters: the festival "Festa Pizzelle and Sciurilli".
A short distance from Salerno, in the enchanting Alto Irno valley, the festival will present you a true masterpiece of Campania cuisine, all organized in the engaging "village of Carifi-Torello", a small fraction of the municipality of Mercato San Severino.
During these four days you can enjoy not only the beautiful fritturine but also many typical products and, exceptionally for a country fair, a selection of local products also suitable for coeliacs!
