Filoviaria line 204 in Naples, the new zero-emission bus inaugurated

Trolleybus in Naples

The Anm of Naples has inaugurated the trolley line 204 which connects Piazza Museo Nazionale with the Cardarelli hospital area, thanks to the project promoted by the Municipality of Naples and co-financed by the Ministry of the Environment.

The route of the trolleybus line

Line 204, as mentioned, connects the National Museum area with the Hospital area, passing through the Sanità Bridge, the Capodimonte Basilica and via Colle Aminei, thus strengthening the public transport line of the ANM.

It replaces the existing 604 line and will cover about 6km in each direction, guaranteeing a widespread connection with 25 stops and a frequency of 7 minutes from 5.30 to 23.45.

Eco-sustainable line with 0 emissions

This new medium was made in a 'green and eco-sustainable perspective and is part of a broader eco-sustainability project that also sees the installation of columns for charging electric cars in the city. We also think of the R4 bus whose old models have been replaced with electric buses, but there are also in circulation 12 trolleybuses without polluting emissions and the interconnection of metro line 1 with the new line 204 has been envisaged.

The ultimate goal of the municipality is to build a totally zero-emission trolleybus network that connects the historic center with the hilly area, strengthening the existing offer.
