Musical Flowers: Free concerts in Scampia, Secondigliano, and Caivano with the Nuova Orchestra Scarlatti

From 21 July 2026 part “Musical Flowers”, the new review of the New Scarlatti Orchestra which brings free symphonic music to the neighborhoods of Scampia, Secondigliano e CaivanoSix free concerts featuring classical music, rap, and Neapolitan tradition, promoted and supported by the Ministry of Culture as part of an urban regeneration project.

“From Rossini to PeppOh” (July 21-23)

The first series of three concerts ranges from classical music evergreens to Neapolitan rap. It starts with Barber of Seville of Rossini, passing through Nabucco of Verdi and Beethoven, up to the songs of PeppOh, rapper, soulman and performer originally from Secondigliano, reworked in a symphonic key by Brown PersianThe masters take turns on the podium Gaetano russo e Brown Persian.

Date “From Rossini to PeppOh”:

• 21th July 19:30 p.m. — Corto Maltese Park, Scampia
• 22th July 19:30 PM — Town Hall Courtyard, Caivano
• 23th July 19:30 p.m. — San Gaetano Errico Park, Secondigliano

“Carosonando” (July 28-30)

The second cycle is a tribute to Naples with orchestral reworkings of the great classics of Neapolitan melodrama, again curated by Bruno Persico. The concerts on July 28th in Secondigliano and July 30th in Caivano feature the extraordinary participation of Daniele Sepe, Neapolitan musician loved for his crossovers between folk, world music, jazz, rock and classical music.

• 28th July 19:30 p.m. — San Gaetano Errico Park, Secondigliano (with Daniele Sepe)
• 29th July 19:30 p.m. — Corto Maltese Park, Scampia
• 30th July 19:30 PM — Town Hall Courtyard, Caivano (with Daniele Sepe)

The festival will continue in September with an even richer program of symphonic events, school concerts, and music workshops for young people. All free.
