At Palazzo Zevallos Stigalino in Naples you can enter for free on the day of Ferragosto!
A Ferragosto il Palazzo Zevallos Stigliano in Naples allows thefree entry to all citizens and tourists to allow anyone to discover this part of our artistic and cultural heritage.
This is an initiative of the Intesa Sanpaolo Gallerie d'Italia group, which includes our Palazzo Zevallos, in the historic center of the city.
In this beautiful building the Caravaggio's masterpiece, "The martyrdom of Sant'Orsola“, Which gives prestige to the whole structure. It is a wonderful work that leaves you breathless and that is certainly worth admiring thanks to this initiative.
The other collections of the Zevallos Palace are not far behind and include masterpieces of Neapolitan art from the seventeenth to the twentieth century. Among these, the works of Vincenzo Gemito, a group called the "scugnizzo sculptor" and which includes the portrait of Gypsy along with famous sculptures such as the harpooner.
